In the operational zone of the Ukrainian Operational Group of Forces (OG) “Kharkiv” on the Kharkiv direction, there were 12 combat engagements, with 6 enemy attacks repelled south of Hlyboke and Lukyantsi. The enemy continues its attempts to break through the Ukrainian defense towards Zelene and persists in its efforts to capture Vovchansk. The Ukrainian Defense Forces attempt to push the enemy back towards Hlyboke and in the area of Vovchansk.
In the “Khortytsia” Operational-Strategic Group of Forces (OSG) operational zone on the Kupyansk direction, the number of combat engagements has increased to 11 over the past day. The Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Synkivka, Ivanivka, and Berestove. On the Lyman direction, the situation remained largely unchanged. The enemy carried out 6 unsuccessful attacks towards the settlements of Novosadove, Torske, and Hryhorivka. On the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attempted to break through the defense lines 15 times but failed to achieve success in the directions of Kalynivka, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, and Kurdyumivka, suffering losses and retreating. Combat operations continue in the areas of Novyi and Ivanivske in Donetsk Oblast.
In the “Tavriya” OSG operational zone, the situation on the Pokrovsk direction remains challenging. The Russian aggressor carried out 23 attacks. Combat is ongoing. The enemy has significantly increased firepower and assault intensity in the area of Netaylove. The Ukrainian Defense Forces are taking measures to stabilize the situation. On the Kurakhove direction, the number of engagements has risen to 11. The invaders attempt to intensify efforts in the area of Paraskoviivka. Combat operations continue in the areas of Krasnohorivka and Kostyantynivka. On the Vremivka direction, the enemy made three unsuccessful attempts to breach the defense lines towards Staromayorske. On the Orikhiv direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled enemy assault actions northwest of Verbove.
In the operational zone of the “Odesa” OSG on the Prydniprovskiy direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully repelled 4 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Krynky.
General conclusion:
- The enemy command of the “Sever” Operational Grouping is concentrating its efforts on capturing Vovchansk, aiming to complete the first phase of the operation in northern Kharkiv Oblast.
- The enemy struck bridges over the Siversky Donets River to isolate the battlefield east of the river and complicate the logistics of the “Kharkiv” OG, thereby simplifying their task of capturing Vovchansk, which they failed to do from the east. The enemy is transitioning to a “systematic assault” tactic.
- Over the past two days, enemy units of the 18th Motorized Rifle Division and assault units of the 7th Separate Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 11th Army Corps have made minimal advances in the area of Lyptsi.
- On both sections of their tactical penetration (Vovchansk direction and Lyptsi direction), the enemy continues its efforts with the 1st Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 2nd Motorized Rifle Division of the 1st Tank Army, supported by units of the 47th Tank Division of the 1st Tank Army, to advance west of Vovchansk in Buhruvatka-Starytsya direction and along the right bank of the Siversky Donets River in a general southern direction.
- In the northern part of Vovchansk, advanced units of the 138th and 25th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigades of the enemy’s 6th Combined Arms Army are attempting not only to consolidate their positions around the meat plant, the old airfield north of the city, and the blocks south of Tereshkova and Novoselivska Streets, but also to push as deeply as possible towards the city center. The enemy has sharply increased the intensity of their fire on the city itself, aiming to clear the way for their assault units and disrupt any counterattacking actions by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
- To continue and increase the pace and scale of their offensive operations on the Kharkiv direction, the enemy needs to establish logistics for their troops, and pull up tactical reserves, primarily armored vehicles.
Change in the line of contact (LoC):
- On the Kharkiv direction, Russian forces have advanced near Lukyantsi and penetrated up to 1 km along the northern bank of the Lypets River between Hlyboke and Lukyantsi, moved into the dacha area north of Lyptsi along the Travyanske Reservoir, and are clearing the territory.
- The Ukrainian Defense Forces attempt to push back the Russian troops near Hlyboke; the enemy repelled Ukrainian counterattacks near Lyptsi. The enemy continued offensive actions near Zelene, between Lukyantsi and Vesele.
- Russian forces continued their advance in and around Vovchansk, attempting to capture Starytsya by attacking from the northeast direction, entered Zybyne, repelled Ukrainian counterattacks near Tykhe and Vovchansk, and continued offensive actions near Buhruvatka.

- On the Vremivka direction, the enemy’s 60th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 5th Combined Arms Army, the 37th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 26th Combined Arms Army, and the 11th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 1st Army Corps continued their assaults in the areas of Urozhaine and Staromayorske. The 131st Rifle Regiment of the 1st Army Corps conducted operations near Novomayorske, and the 116th Rifle Regiment of the 1st Army Corps was active in the area of Volodymyrivka.
- On the Orikhiv direction, the 114th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 127th Motorized Rifle Division and the 1st BARS Detachment advanced north of Marfopil, while the 70th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 42nd Motorized Rifle Division pushed within the boundaries of Robotyne towards the northern outskirts. Positional battles continued northwest of Verbove and near Mala Tokmachka.
- On the Prydniprovskiy direction, positional battles persisted in the area of Krynky. The Ukrainian Defense Forces are attempting to expand their foothold in the direction of Kozachi Laheri.
- In the Black Sea-Azov naval operational area, the enemy naval group on combat duty consists of:
- Mediterranean Sea: 4 ships, including 1 “Kalibr” sea launched cruise missile carrier. The total salvo is 8 cruise missiles.
- A missile strike hit the enemy’s naval minesweeper of project 266m “Kovrovets” of the Black Sea Fleet (information is being verified).
Changes in the enemy disposition:
- The 238th Artillery Brigade of the 8th Combined Arms Army and the 200th Artillery Brigade of the 29th Combined Arms Army are engaged in combat operations in the Yelyzavetivka area.
- On the Kharkiv direction, units of the 18th Motorized Rifle Division and the 7th Separate Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 11th Army Corps are operating in the Lyptsi area. In the direction of Lyptsi, the enemy has only deployed individual consolidated assault companies of the 41st Motorized Rifle Regiment. The main forces of the 44th Army Corps have not been committed to battle and hold approximately 3,500-3,700 personnel in the operational sectors of the “Kursk” and “Belgorod” Operational Groupings.
- Units of the 1st Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 2nd Motorized Rifle Division of the 1st Tank Army, elements of the 47th Tank Division of the 1st Tank Army, and the 25th and 138th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigades of the 6th Army are conducting combat operations near Vovchansk.
Possible operation situation developments:
- The enemy will continue their attempts to penetrate the urban area of Vovchansk and advance west of the city along both banks of the Siversky Donets River, particularly in the Buhruvatka area.
- If the enemy manages to cross the Siversky Donets River towards Prylipka and further to Synelnykove and Tsehelne, the situation for the “Kharkiv” OG tactical group defending Vovchansk will sharply deteriorate. The transfer of enemy troops from the Nova Tavilzhanka and Arkhangelskoye (Russian territory) areas to Ohirtseve and Buhruvatka will indicate the commencement of this scenario by the command of the “Sever” Operational Grouping.
- The implementation of the plan by the “Sever” and “Zapad” Operational Groupings to break through the rear of “Khortytsia” OSG on the Kupyansk direction via Bilyi Kolodiaz and Velykyi Burluk will require significant reinforcement of the grouping with reserves amounting to a division. To this end, the 70th or 71st Motorized Rifle Regiments of the 42nd Motorized Rifle Division of the 58th Army could be redeployed from the Zaporizhzhia direction, a regiment from the 7th or 76th Airborne Assault Divisions, and the 54th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 6th Motorized Rifle Division of the 3rd Army Corps or the 299th Airborne Regiment of the 98th Airborne Division could be redeployed from the Kramatorsk direction.
- The adversary will attempt to bypass Chasiv Yar without directly assaulting the city, by operating from the south and southeast, while simultaneously forming a northern flank for the Toretsk operation.
- The “Center” Operational Grouping command is focused on executing the following operational plan: to establish conditions for the blockade and encirclement of the Kurakhove area or to create advantageous circumstances for launching an offensive operation to encircle “Tavriya” OSG’s defense in Toretsk area from the south.
- The enemy’s “Vostok” Operational Grouping is gearing up for active operations on the southern flank of the Kurakhove-Vuhledar bulge of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in coordination with the left flank of the “Yug” Operational Grouping, which is currently attempting to break through towards Kurakhove through Hryhorivka and Paraskoviivka-Kostyantynivka along the Vovcha and Sukhi Yaly Rivers.
