In the “Khortytsia” Operational-Strategic Group of Forces (OSG) operational zone on the Kupyansk direction, the enemy tried 6 times to advance towards the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces near Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Pishchane, and Berestove.  On the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 16 times in the areas of Nevske, Serebriansk Forest, Makiivka, Terny, and Torske. On the Siversk direction the enemy tried four times to breach the Ukrainian defense in the areas of Bilohorivka, Rozdolivka, and Vyimka. On the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy’s activity resulted in 11 clashes. Nine attacks in the areas of Ivanivske, Andriivka, and Chasiv Yar were repelled. The situation remains tense, with fighting ongoing near Chasiv Yar. On the Toretsk direction, 19 enemy attacks were repelled near Toretsk, Pivnichne, Zalizne, and New York.

In the “Tavriya” OSG operational zone, the enemy showed the most activity on the Pokrovsk direction. The occupiers tried 40 times to breach the defense in the areas of Oleksandropil, Novoselivka Persha, Novooleksandrivka, Progress, Lozuvatske, Sokil, Yasnobrodivka, Vozdvyzhenka, and Karlivka. On the Kurakhove direction, the enemy attacked 17 times, showing the most activity in the areas of Paraskoviivka and Kostyantynivka, but without success. On the Vremivka direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 5 enemy attacks near Vodyane and Urozhaine, with fighting ongoing. The occupiers unsuccessfully stormed the Ukrainian Defense Forces’ positions three times on the Orikhiv directionnear Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne.

General conclusion:

  • On the Kupiansk direction, the enemy is operating with small assault groups of up to a squad in size.
  • Russian forces have largely shifted their focus from the Chasiv Yar direction to the Toretsk direction.

Change in the line of contact (LoC):

  • There were 136 combat engagements on various fronts.
  • On the Kharkiv direction, Russian forces crossed the Vovcha River in central Vovchansk and continued offensive actions near Hlyboke, Vovchansk, and Starytsya. The assault groups include volunteers from African countries and former Soviet states.
  • Ukrainian Defense Forces assault groups regularly attacked the northern outskirts of Hlyboke, driving the enemy out of Sotnytsky Kozachok.
  • On the Kupyansk direction, Russian forces continued offensive actions in the areas of Synkivka, Vilshana, Pishchane, Berestove, and Stepova Novoselivka.
  • On the Lyman direction, Russian forces attacked near Makiivka, Nevske, Terny, and Torske.
  • On the Siversk Direction, Russian forces continued offensive actions near Bilohorivka, Verkhnyokamianske, Spirne, and Vyimka, advancing northwest of Rozdolivka.
  • On the Kramatorsk direction, Russian forces continued to advance on the eastern outskirts of Chasiv Yar, near Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka, striking a Ukrainian Defense Forces ammunition depot near Kostyantynivka.
  • On the Toretsk direction, Russian forces continued to advance within New York, approaching Toretsk from both the east and the south, and attacked near Zalizne and Pivnichne.
  • On the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces advanced to the northeastern outskirts of Novoselivka Persha, consolidating their positions, and continued to advance near Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Progress, Sokol, Kalynove, Karlivka, and Yasnobrodivka.
  • On the Kurakhove direction, Russian forces continued to advance near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Paraskoviivka, Kostyantynivka, and Vodyane.
  • On the Vremivka direction, units of the Russian 37th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 36th Army broke through to the center of Urozhaine. The occupiers also struck south of Hulyaipole.
  • In the Black Sea-Azov naval operational area, the enemy naval group on combat duty consists of:
    • Azov Sea: 3 ships, including 0 cruise missile carriers; the total salvo is 0 cruise missiles.
    • Mediterranean Sea: 2 ships, including 2 cruise missile carriers; the total salvo is 24 cruise missiles.

Changes in the enemy disposition:

  • 37th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade and 5th Separate Tank Brigade of the 36th Combined Arms Army, as well as the 14th Separate SOF Brigade, participate in the battles near Urozhaine.

Possible operation situation developments:

  • On the Kupyansk direction, in the operational zone of the 1st Tank Army, command of the enemy’s “Zapad (West)” Operational Grouping will attempt to reach the Oskil River in the Hlushkivka – Zahryzove sector, the Petropavlivka – Kurylivka line, and storm Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi railway junction. This assumption is supported he enemy’s increased activity specifically on the flanks (Synkivka – Petropavlivka and Pishchane – Kolisnykivka directions). To bind the “Khortytsia” OSG forces, the enemy will exert frontal pressure on their positions in the Stepova Novoselivka area.
  • The enemy has completed the formation of a tactical group consisting of the 252nd Motorized Rifle Regiment, 237th Tank Regiment of the 3rd Motorized Rifle Division, 283rd Motorized Rifle Regiment, and 59th Tank Regiment of the 144th Motorized Rifle Division. This group will soon attempt to seize the crossing over the Chornyi Zherebets River in Makiivka and attack the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces units in Nevske from the areas of Makiivka and Chervonopopivka.
  • The following units will attack through the wooded area of Chasiv Yar with assault groups: the 200th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 14th Army Corps will advance from the Kalynivka area, while the 98th Airborne Division will move between the T0504 Kostyantynivka–Bakhmut highway and the “Novyi” neighborhood, with part of its forces in the “Zhovtnevyi” neighborhood. Their actions will begin with the capture of Kalynivka and securing control over the intersection of the Siversky Donets–Donbas canal and the T0504 highway.
