  • Near Toretsk, Russian forces attack with separate assault groups of up to 10 soldiers, carrying out five to seven attacks per day.
  • The enemy’s “Yug (South)” Operational Grouping is advancing in the Krasnohorivka and Nevelske areas, attacking Vuhledar from the east.

Change in the line of contact (LoC):

  • There were 155 combat engagements on various fronts.
  • On the Kharkiv direction, Russian forces advanced slightly within Vovchansk, in the wooded area west of Synelnykove, and north of Starytsya.
  • Ukrainian Defense Forces counterattacked near Hlyboke and in the Vovchansk area.
  • On the Kupyansk direction, Russian forces are clearing the outskirts of Pishchane and advanced north and west of the village, continuing attacks near Synkivka, Hlushkivka, Kolisnykivka, Berestove, and Stelmakhivka.
  • On the Lyman direction, Russian forces continued attacks near Novoserhiivka, Makiivka, Nevske, Terny, Torske, and in the Serebriansk Forest area.

  • On the Kramatorsk direction, Russian forces continued their offensive in the Chasiv Yar area but did not advance. The enemy attacked near the Siversky Donets-Donbas canal, close to Kalynivka, Bohdanivka, Minkivka, Vasyukivka, and Hryhorivka.
  • On the Toretsk direction, Russian forces achieved significant tactical progress within New York, advancing in the southwestern part of the town to Yesenina Street via Dekabryvistiv and Lev Tolstoy streets. The enemy attacked southwest in Zalizne and within Pivnichne.
  • On the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces advanced in the fields north of Novooleksandrivka, on the northern and western outskirts of Prohres, and in the fields east of Vovche, capturing Nevelske. They attacked near Kalynove, Panteleimonivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Novoselivka Persha, Lozuvatske, Prohres, Umanske, and Tymofiivka.
  • Ukrainian Defense Forces are trying to align the frontline between Prohres and Lozuvatske to prevent a Russian bulge in this area.
  • On the Kurakhove direction, Russian forces advanced along Slovianska and Chkalova streets in the western part of Krasnohorivka, to Tsentralna Street in the eastern part of Maksymilianivka, attacking near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, and Paraskoviivka.

  • On the Prydniprovskiy direction, positional battles continued on the left bank of Kherson Oblast, including near Krynky. Russian forces are clearing islands near Krynky.
  • In the Black Sea-Azov naval operational area, the enemy naval group on combat duty consists of:
    • Black Sea: 2 ships, including 2 cruise missile carriers; the total salvo is 12 cruise missiles.
    • Azov Sea: 4 ships, including 0 cruise missile carriers; the total salvo is 0 cruise missiles.
    • Mediterranean Sea: 1 ship, including 1 cruise missile carriers; the total salvo is 8 cruise missiles.

Changes in the enemy disposition:

  • The 247th Air Assault Regiment of the 7th Air Assault Division continues to operate near Verbove.

Possible operation situation developments:

  • The enemy will attempt to intensify efforts in the central part of Vovchansk towards the Aggregate Plant and along Lenin Street towards the bridge over the Vovcha River or along Khliborobiv Street. We should also expect increased enemy activity in the area between Hatyshche and the railway bridge towards the Vovchansk railway station, which will require crossing the Vovcha River. The enemy will try to join both of its wedges into one bridgehead and attack Starytsya.
  • In the direction of Lyptsi, enemy attacks are expected in the area of Hlyboke with the aim of completely pushing back the “Kharkiv” OTG forward units, especially in the area between Lyptsi and the forest southeast of it. The enemy will also attempt to advance along both banks of the Lypets River from the village of Lukyantsi towards Lyptsi to regain control over its northeastern outskirts. These actions may be accompanied by an enemy attempt to break through towards the Travyanske Reservoir, thereby cutting off the “Kharkiv” OTG units currently fighting of Hlyboke from the village of Lyptsi.
  • On the Kupyansk direction, in the operational zone of the 1st Tank Army, command of the enemy’s “Zapad (West)” Operational Grouping will attempt to reach the Oskil River in the Hlushkivka – Zahryzove sector, the Petropavlivka – Kurylivka line, and storm Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi railway junction. To bind the “Khortytsia” OSG forces, the enemy will exert frontal pressure on their positions in the Stepova Novoselivka area.
  • The enemy’s “Yug (South)” Operational Grouping failed to advance through Kalynivka, failing to complete the task of bypassing Chasiv Yar from the north and breaking through Ridkodubya towards the railway station north of the Refractory plant, thus falling to force the forward units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces to retreat from the “Novyi” and “Zhovtnevyi” neighborhoods and avoid a frontal assault on their positions across the canal. A repeat attempt of such actions should be expected if the “Siversky Donets-Donbas” canal between Kalynivka and the “Zhovtnevyi” neighborhood is crossed.
  • The 55th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade is actively fortifying its forward positions between Novooleksandrivka and Arkhanhelske, particularly setting up mine-explosive barriers, preparing to intensify offensive actions with at least two battalions and two to three assault groups from a consolidated assault company north of Novooleksandrivka towards Zelene Pole and Baranivka, aiming to support the right flank of a tactical group that will attempt to capture Vozdvyzhenka. If the enemy achieves success north of Novooleksandrivka, they may also launch an attack towards Kalynove.
  • Russian forces will intensify attacks south of Kostyantynivka to encircle the Vuhledar defense area.
