In the operational zone of the Ukrainian Operational Group of Forces (OTG) “Kharkiv” on the Kharkiv direction, the enemy continued its offensive, with a total of 6 engagements taking place. Battles occurred in the areas of Hlyboke, Tykhe, and Vovchansk.
In the “Khortytsia” Operational-Strategic Group of Forces (OSG) operational zone on the Kupyansk direction, there were 3 engagements. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled enemy attacks in the Stelmakhivka area. On the Lyman direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 15 enemy attacks in the areas of Makiivka, Terny, and Torske. On the Siversk direction, 11 attacks were repelled in the areas of Ivano-Dariivka, Spirne, Verkhnyokamianske, Pereyizne, and Vyimka. On the Kramatorsk direction,Ukrainian Defense Forces stopped 12 enemy attempts to breach their defenses in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, and Klishchiivka. The enemy attempted to penetrate Ukrainian defenses 24 times on the Toretsk direction in the areas of Pivnichne, Toretsk, New York, and Zalizne.
In the “Tavriya” OSG operational zone, on the Pokrovsk direction, 36 attacks were repelled in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Zhelanne, Vozdvyzhenka, Ivanivka, Novoselivka Persha, and Kalynove. On the Kurakhove direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka and Kostyantynivka, where the enemy attempted to breach their defenses 3 times. On the Vremivka direction, the enemy made 5 unsuccessful attempts to breach Ukrainian defenses towards Vodyane and Stepova Novosilka. On the Orikhiv direction, there were 2 engagements in the areas of Novodanylivka and Novoandriivka.
General conclusion:
- Russian forces have intensified pressure near Makiivka and are advancing in the area. The Russian military command has redeployed additional troops and equipment to this sector.
- The enemy’s advance to the southwest of Zalizne or north of New York may force Ukrainian Defense Forces to withdraw from positions between Zalizne and Toretsk.
- Russian positions along the O0532 Vuhledar-Kostyantynivka highway are not tactically significant and will not substantially facilitate their advance in this area, though they may aid in the withdrawal of Ukrainian Defense Forces units from the Vuhledar area. Ukrainian Defense Forces have alternative logistical routes leading to Vuhledar, and blocking the O0532 highway does not significantly impair their ability to hold and supply positions in the Vuhledar area.
Change in the line of contact (LoC):
- There were 123 combat engagements on various fronts.
- On the Kharkiv direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces have withdrawn from some positions in Vovchansk. They are attempting to break through to the eastern outskirts of the Vovchansk Aggregate Plant and hold positions in its western part.
- On the Kupyansk direction, Russian forces continued their offensive in the areas of Pishchane, Stelmakhivka, and Andriivka.
- On the Lyman direction, battles continued in the areas of Makiivka, Nevske, and Torske.
- On the Siversk Direction, Russian forces continued their offensive in the areas of Verkhnyokamianske, Ivano-Dariivka, Vyimka, Spirne, and Pereyizne.
- On the Kramatorsk direction, Russian forces advanced northwest of Klishchiivka, continued their offensive in the areas of the “Novyi” and “Zhovtnevyi” neighborhoods, and in the directions of Hryhorivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka.
- On the Toretsk direction, Russian forces are continuing their offensive, advancing near Toretsk, in the center of New York, in the southwestern part of Zalizne, in Druzhba, and attempting to encircle Ukrainian Defense Forces units in the area between New York and Zalizne. They continued offensive actions in the areas of Pivnichne and Panteleimonivka.
- Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully counterattacked in the center of New York, capturing prisoners.
- On the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces advanced along tree lines south of Vovche, in fields southwest of Tymofiivka and Prohres, in the western part of Zhelanne, entered the southeastern outskirts of Ivanivka, and continued offensive actions in the areas of Kalynove, Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Ivanivka, Zhelanne, Serhiivka, Svyrydonivka, Tymofiivka, Lysychne, Prohres, Novoselivka Persha, and Yasnobrodivka.
- On the Kurakhove direction, enemy’s 68th Army Corps forces reached highway O0532 southwest of Kostyantynivka, cutting off the Vuhledar-Kostyantynivka logistic route. The 57th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 6th Motorized Rifle Division, 3rd Army Corps, is advancing towards another section of the highway near Vodyane.
- Russian forces advanced in the fields south of Pobieda and continued their offensive in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Paraskoviivka, and Kostyantynivka.
- On the Vremivka direction, positional battles continued in the area of Velyka Novosilka, with the enemy advancing near Urozhaine.
- On the Orikhiv direction, localized positional battles continued near Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, and Verbove.
- In the Black Sea-Azov naval operational area, the enemy naval group on combat duty consists of:
- Black Sea: 1 ship, including 1 cruise missile carrier; the total salvo is 4 cruise missiles.
- Mediterranean Sea: 2 ships, including 1 cruise missile carrier; the total salvo is 16 cruise missiles.
- Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted a missile strike using MGM-140 ATACMS missiles on air defense positions. Preliminary reports indicate that four S-400 missile launchers and a radar station were destroyed.
- A UAV strike was carried out on the Morozovsk airfield in the Russian Rostov Oblast. The strike hit fuel storage tanks and aviation munition depots (including KAB, FAB, and Kh-59 missiles). At the time of the attack, Su-34, Su-35, and Su-30 aircraft were present at the airfield.
Changes in the enemy disposition:
- The command of the enemy’s “Sever (North)” Operational Grouping conducted evacuation and internal rotations of units at forward positions in Vovchansk.
Possible operation situation developments:
- The enemy will attempt to advance along both banks of the Lypets River from the village of Lukyantsi towards Lyptsi to regain control over its northeastern outskirts. These actions may be accompanied by an enemy attempt to break through towards the Travyanske Reservoir, thereby cutting off the “Kharkiv” OTG units currently fighting for Hlyboke from the village of Lyptsi.
- On the Kupyansk direction, in the operational zone of the 1st Tank Army, command of the enemy’s “Zapad (West)” Operational Grouping will attempt to reach the Oskil River in the Hlushkivka – Zahryzove sector, the Petropavlivka – Kurylivka line, and storm Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi railway junction. To bind the “Khortytsia” OSG forces, the enemy will exert frontal pressure on their positions in the Stepova Novoselivka area.
- In the near future, “Tavriya” OSG units will be forced to retreat westward beyond the Vovcha River under simultaneous pressure from the enemy’s 27th Motorized Rifle Division, 90th Tank Division, and 114th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade. There is a high probability of an enemy breakthrough between Mezhove and Skuchne in the general direction of Komyshivka.
