General conclusion:
- The enemy advanced in Chasiv Yar. Battles are ongoing near Novoselivka Persha and Zalizne.
- The enemy made gains in the following areas: captured Vesele and Novoselivka Persha, nearly all of Yasnobrodivka, and Pivdenne. They advanced 400 meters west of Tymofiivka, 700 meters along the railway towards Zhelanne, 500 meters from Vovche towards Zhelanne, 300 meters in Ivanivka, 500 meters in Yasnobrodivka, 300 meters in Zalizne, 200 meters in New York, and 400 meters towards Panteleimonivka.
- The number of Ukrainain Defense Forces units in Zalizne has decreased to a critically low level. The enemy has brought in fresh forces and is creating pressure on this flank of the Toretsk direction.
- Change in the line of contact (LoC):
- There were 102 combat engagements on various fronts.
- On the Kharkiv direction, Russian forces continued offensive actions in the areas of Synkivka, Kolisnykivka, Novoosynove, Hlushkivka, Andriivka, Berestove, and Stelmakhivka.
- On the Kupyansk direction, Russian forces continued their offensive in the areas of Pishchane, Stelmakhivka, and Andriivka.
- On the Lyman direction, Russian forces advanced further within the southern part of Makiivka. Battles continued near Terny and Torske.
- On the Siversk Direction, Russian forces advanced north of Rozdolivka. Battles continued near Verkhnyokamianske, Spirne, Ivano-Dariivka, Vyimka, and Pereyizne.
- On the Kramatorsk direction, Russian forces advanced further west of the Siversky Donets-Donbas canal in the northeastern part of the “Zhovtnevyi” neighborhood, and continued attacks near Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka.
- On the Toretsk direction, Russian forces continued offensive actions but did not advance, though they actively attacked in Zalizne and the center of New York. Battles continued near Toretsk, Pivnichne, Zalizne, New York, and Panteleimonivka.
- On the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces advanced in the southeastern part of Serhiivka and the western part of Zhelanne. Battles continued near Kalynove, Vozdvyzhenka, Ivanivka, Tymofiivka, Novooleksandrivka, Novoselivka Persha, Mezhove, and Karlivka.
- On the Kurakhove direction, Russian forces continued offensive actions in the area of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Kostyantynivka, and Paraskoviivka, but the front line did not change.
- On the Vremivka direction, Russian forces continued attacks near Velyka Novosilka, but to no avail.
- On the Orikhiv direction, there were no changes to the front line. The 108th Air Assault Regiment of the 7th Air Assault Division is actively attacking in the area of Mala Tokmachka. Russian forces also conducted assaults near Robotyne, Verbove, Novodanylivka, and Novoandriivka.
- In the Black Sea-Azov naval operational area, the enemy naval group on combat duty consists of:
- Black Sea: 1 ship, including 1 cruise missile carrier; the total salvo is 4 cruise missiles.
- Mediterranean Sea: 2 ships, including 1 cruise missile carrier; the total salvo is 16 cruise missiles.
- At the time of the strike, there were 43 crew members aboard the submarine “Rostov-on-Don.” To avoid acknowledging the loss of the submarine, the Russian military-political leadership has decided not to conduct emergency rescue operations. The crew is presumed dead (information is being verified).
Changes in the enemy disposition:
- The 98th Airborne Division is assaulting the “Zhovtnevyi” and “Novyi” neighborhoods. Units of the “5th Cossack Reconnaissance Brigade ‘Terek'” of the “Volunteer Assault Corps” operate on the Soledar – Bakhmut direction.
- The 24th Separate SOF Brigade operates near Zhelanne. The 15th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 2nd Combined Arms Army is active near Zhelanne and Ocheretyne.
Escalation indicators:
- The Russian military command is redeploying available reserves to the Pokrovsk direction, particularly from the areas of Henichesk in Kherson Oblast, Berdiansk in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, and Mariupol in Donetsk Oblast.
- The Russian military command is transferring forces from Luhansk Oblast to the Starytsya area in preparation for future assaults in this area.
Possible operation situation developments:
- The enemy will attempt to advance along both banks of the Lypets River from the village of Lukyantsi towards Lyptsi to regain control over its northeastern outskirts. These actions may be accompanied by an enemy attempt to break through towards the Travyanske Reservoir, thereby cutting off the “Kharkiv” OTG units currently fighting for Hlyboke from the village of Lyptsi.
- On the Kupyansk direction, in the operational zone of the 1st Tank Army, command of the enemy’s “Zapad (West)” Operational Grouping will attempt to reach the Oskil River in the Hlushkivka – Zahryzove sector, the Petropavlivka – Kurylivka line, and storm Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi railway junction. To bind the “Khortytsia” OSG forces, the enemy will exert frontal pressure on their positions in the Stepova Novoselivka area.
- In the near future, “Tavriya” OSG units will be forced to retreat westward beyond the Vovcha River under simultaneous pressure from the enemy’s 27th Motorized Rifle Division, 90th Tank Division, and 114th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade. There is a high probability of an enemy breakthrough between Mezhove and Skuchne in the general direction of Komyshivka.
