In the “Khortytsia” Operational-Strategic Group of Forces (OSG) operational zone on the Kupyansk direction, there were 4 enemy attacks. The Defense Forces repelled enemy assaults near Synkivka, Berestove, Kruhlyakivka, and in the direction of Novoosynove. In the “Tavriya” OSG operational zone, on the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces stopped 54 assault and offensive actions towards the settlements of Sukha Balka, Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Yelyzavetivka, Zelene Pole, Malynivka, Hrodivka, Zhelanne, Skuchne, Kalynove, Ptyche, and Karlivka. The highest concentration of enemy attacks was near Hrodivka, and the area was subjected to bombing by guided aerial bombs. On the Kurakhove direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 5 attacks near Krasnohorivka and Kostyantynivka. On the Vremivka direction, the enemy conducted 6 assaults on Defense Forces positions near Vodyane, Kostyantynivka, and Vuhledar. On the Orikhiv direction, the occupiers attempted to dislodge Ukrainian Defense Forces units from positions in the areas of Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne, conducting 2 assaults in total.
In the operational zone of “Odesa” OSG on the Prydniprovskiy direction, Russian invaders attacked Ukrainian Defense Forces positions 11 times, faced fierce resistance, suffered losses, and retreated. The enemy carried out an airstrike with unguided rockets in the area of Mykolaivka.
General conclusion:
- Ukrainian Defense Forces are compelling the Russian garrison in Korenovo to surrender.
- Ukrainian Defense Forces are maintaining control over the concentration areas of the enemy’s 11th Separate Air Assault Brigade, which has partially lost command over its units and is experiencing communication issues with its command.
- Chechen blocking detachments have stopped units of the 488th Motorized Rifle Regiment and the 4th Tank Regiment, which had been defeated in Sudzha, in the area of Belitsa.
- In the Chasiv Yar area, the enemy is using a tactic of sequential artillery fire concentration and is hardly employing armored fighting vehicles. Operational armored vehicles are being transferred to the Pokrovsk direction. Assault groups of 4 to 8 soldiers cross the canal and attempt to secure positions on the opposite bank. Any identified firing points of Ukrainian Defense Forces are immediately suppressed by enemy artillery fire. Ukrainian Defense Forces have not lost any positions.
- On the Toretsk direction, after several successful counterattacks by Ukrainian Defense Forces, the enemy has regrouped and is attempting to assault the outskirts of the town. Enemy aviation conducts up to 100 bomb attacks per day using guided aerial bombs.
- The area around Toretsk is a continuous combat zone. Infantry group clashes are nearly constant near Zalizne, Pivdenne, and Pivnichne. The enemy is intensifying efforts in New York, and the threat to Nelypivka persists.
- Intensity of combat operations: Kramatorsk direction – up to 6 assaults per day, Toretsk – up to 8, Pokrovsk – up to 50.
- The Russian military command has redeployed units that were previously intended for rotation or reinforcement on the front lines from rear areas in Donetsk Oblast to Kursk Oblast, which has affected the pace of the Russian Armed Forces’ offensive in priority directions, and this impact will increase.
- The number of Russian prisoners of war from Kursk Oblast has approached 2,000, including 45 FSB officers and up to 50 militants from Chechnya from the “Akhmat” units.
- Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out drone strikes on the enemy’s air bases “Baltimore” and “Borisoglebsk” in Voronezh Oblast (where Su-34 and Su-25 aircraft are based, respectively) and “Savasleyka” in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast (where MiG-31K aircraft are based). Wounded Russian servicemen have been taken to the hospital in Murom, Russia.
Change in the line of contact (LoC):
- There were 134 combat engagements on various fronts.
- On the Kursk Direction: Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to advance in Kursk Oblast amid Russia’s attempts to stabilize the front line in this area. The Defense Forces have advanced in the fields north of Snagost, northeast of Korenevo, northeast of Alekseyevskoye, and east of Giri. They continue to attack Korenevo and Tolpino, have captured Pogrebki, and are consolidating near Velikoye Soldatskoye. They are active in the eastern part of Plekhovo. The 82nd Separate Air Assault Brigade is engaged in battles in Tolpino and north of the village. The 103rd Territorial Defense Brigade, south of Korenevo, continued its advance on Glushkovo. Russian authorities have begun evacuating the entire population between this area and Tetkino.
- The enemy’s 11th Separate Air Assault Brigade is holding Sheptukhovka and positions south of Pogrebki. After HIMARS MLRS strikes on its positions, the brigade has significantly lost its ability to resist and has not been able to prevent the rapid advance of the 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade of Ukrainian Defense Forces past its combat formations to the north.
- Two companies of the 810th Separate Marines Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet were defeated and retreated from Martynovka. Units of the 22nd Separate Mechanized Brigade of Ukrainian Defense Forces have secured positions in the village, with the brigade’s main forces continuing to move northward.
- The 488th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 144th Motorized Rifle Division retreated from Sudzha under pressure from the 88th Separate Mechanized Brigade of Ukrainian Defense Forces. The city is now under Ukrainian control. The maneuver actions of the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade, which brought the last retreat route of the 488th Motorized Rifle Regiment from Sudzha to Ulanka under fire control the night before the retreat, facilitated the enemy’s withdrawal.
- On the Kharkiv direction, fighting continued in the areas of Hlyboke, Lyptsi, Tykhe, and Vovchansk. In the latter, there were assaults on the multi-story building district.
- Russian forces are transferring the 11th Tank Regiment of the 18th Motorized Rifle Division of the 11th Army Corps to the area of Hlyboke to replenish personnel losses. The enemy has changed the combat security of positions near Starytsya and has evacuated personnel.
- On the Kupyansk direction, Russian forces advanced near Tabaiivka and attacked near Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Andriivka, Kruhlyakivka, Stelmakhivka, Berestove, Tabaiivka, Hlushkivka, and Novoosynove.

- On the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces made minor advances to the northwest of Verbove. Fighting continued near Novoandriivka.
- In the Black Sea-Azov naval operational area, the enemy naval group on combat duty consists of:
- Black Sea: 1 ship, including 1 cruise missile carrier; the total salvo is 4 cruise missiles.
- Mediterranean Sea: 2 ships, including 1 cruise missile carrier; the total salvo is 4 cruise missiles.
Changes in the enemy disposition:
- Units of the 74th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 41st Combined Arms Army are operating in the area of Pivnichne, while units of the 132nd Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 1st Army Corps and the 35th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 41st Combined Arms Army are active near New York. - The Russian military command is deploying irregular units to Kursk Oblast, including the “Pyatnashka” Brigade and the “Sarmat” Battalion, which have already arrived on the new direction. Some of these units will remain on the Chasiv Yar, Toretsk, and Pokrovsk directions, which remain a priority for the Russian military command.
Escalation indicators:
- Successful development of the Ukrainian Defense Forces’ operation in the Russian Kursk Oblast.
Possible operation situation developments:
- The sides are deploying reserves to the Belitsa and Giri areas of Kursk Oblast, where combat clashes are expected to occur in the next day or two.
- Stagnation of battles is expected on the Vremivka and Kurakhove directions, and later on the Kharkiv, Kupyansk, and Lyman directions.
- The Russian military command on the Kursk direction will have to quickly deploy a second echelon of additional troops and assets (reserves), as the troops of its first echelon will not be able to stop the offensive of the Ukrainian Defense Forces’ Operational Maneuver Group.
- On the Kupyansk direction, in the operational zone of the 1st Tank Army, command of the enemy’s “Zapad (West)” Operational Grouping will attempt to reach the Oskil River in the Hlushkivka – Zahryzove sector, the Petropavlivka – Kurylivka line, and storm Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi railway junction. To bind the “Khortytsia” OSG forces, the enemy will exert frontal pressure on their positions in the Stepova Novoselivka area.
- On the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy will attempt to advance to the Orlivka-Mykolaivka line.
