The International Forum of the International Crimea Platform Expert Network “Foreseeing the future: expert”s view” will be held in Kyiv

Ukraine’s victory in the war of aggression unleashed by Russia will allow for the restoration of the rule of international law and create conditions for the renewal of the existing security architecture. In order to understand how to build a post-war configuration of world security and establish an order based on the principles of international law, Ukrainian experts and human rights activists initiated the International Forum of the International Crimea Platform Expert Network “Foreseeing the future: expert”s view”. The speakers and participants of the forum will be leading experts from more than 20 countries.

Event organizers: International Crimea Platform Expert Network, Crimean Human Rights Group and Centre for Defence Strategies. 

Participants of the event will discuss the environmental damage caused by Russian aggression; the future architecture of global security and the Black Sea region in particular; violations of the laws and customs of warfare by Russia and expert legal intervention to restore justice; strategic vision and recommendations on post-war settlement in Russia.

18 July (Pre-day):

19 July (Main day):

  • Panel discussion “Future Global Security Architecture: Vision from the Black Sea Region” 
  • Panel discussion “Restoration of justice and experts’ role in it”
  • Panel discussion “Post-war Russia: visions from the democratic states”

The event will be held within the framework of the International Crimea Platform, a mechanism aimed at de-occupation of Crimea and restoration of the Black Sea, European and global security.
